Dedicated transport — a vehicle that runs exclusively for you, direct and without transshipment

Do you need a vehicle that drives exclusively for you, either on a structural basis or for a fixed period? We arrange dedicated capacity through our transport network — a direct run from A to B, no transshipment, well suited to recurring routes, peak periods or deliveries with strict deadlines.

When does dedicated transport make sense?

Dedicated transport means that one vehicle (and driver) is available exclusively for you during an agreed period. Other shipments are not combined with yours. It costs more than a shared run, but it gives you certainty over sequence, timing and undivided attention — the goods travel straight from collection to delivery without any handling in between.

We propose dedicated capacity in situations where a shared run would be too risky or too cumbersome. For example: a tour with several stops in a fixed order, a shipment of high value or fragile goods where no intermediate handling is wanted, or a period in which your distribution demand exceeds what your own capacity can handle.

Three typical dedicated use cases

Fixed route, fixed customer

For example, collecting from your warehouse every morning and delivering to the same customer or distribution point — the same driver, the same schedule, predictability for both sides.

Absorbing a peak period

During a season or a product launch: extra vehicles for a few weeks, without you having to find new carriers or sign contracts.

High-value or fragile shipments

One vehicle, one driver, no intermediate handover. Covered by carrier liability (CMR); a higher liability limit is available on request.

How do we put dedicated capacity together?

  1. You describe your need: route, frequency, vehicle type and any requirements (tail lift, temperature control, help with loading).
  2. We assess which carrier from the network fits the profile and the desired regularity.
  3. We set up an arrangement with a fixed price per run or per period, a fixed schedule and a single point of contact.
  4. For changes (extra runs, different days, holiday periods) you coordinate with us; we take care of the execution from there.

How it differs from custom and standard runs

A custom request is one-off and exceptional — often for a single special run. A standard request is an individual run within our regular routes and pricing model. Dedicated sits in between: regular, predictable, exclusive capacity, but within clear agreements.

Not needed for every request. For incidental runs a standard courier or business courier service is usually enough. Not sure? Describe your situation and we will advise.
